I am resending this to all active members as a reminder
You have
been listed on this web site as an active member,
however you need to register and assign yourself and
user name and password. (This is for those members
not already registered).
I have
listed the instructions below:
To log-in,
go to http://ww.azgolf.org/members/cms_login.asp
then
use window #2 first time login.
Select the Painted Mountain Men's GC
from the drop down menu and then put in your first
and last name. This will take you to the golf fusion
member login and registration window. Scroll down
to registration and put in your first name
and last name and then the 4
digit security code - you will need to
contact one of the club officers for this code.
Then click here on the existing member. After that
you can assign yourself a username and password and
review your personal data. After you complete this
section, the next time you login go to section window
#1 on the AGA member page and select your
club and then put in your username and password. Should
you have any problems, please call Doug Corrao and
he will walk you through this procedure. Note: there is an underscore sign "_" between cms and login.

Painted Mountain is one of the courses available.
Not every golf course in the state has signed up yet.
If you are interested in purchasing one, we can probably
get the golf shop to order them for us. Please let me
know if you would like one and we will try and combine
the order. They normally run in the $350 range and I
am pretty sure the golf shop would let us use our script
toward the purchase.
Golfers wishing to play at Painted Mountain
with the Thursday 18 Hole Men’s League should
contact Bob Staelens at 480-985-2845

Golf Carts
Hills and Slopes-When possible, avoid driving or parking
carts on sharp slopes. Be extremely careful
in loose gravel or on wet grass. Driver safety-Drive
a golf cart as if driving an automobile. Keep
hands on the wheel. Keep feet and legs in the
cart. Use the emergency brake. Avoid sharp
turns, excessive speeds, and any other risky moves.
Manners and Behavior
Leave the course in better condition than you
found it. Treat other players the way you would like
to be treated. Play quickly and observe good
golf etiquette.Show patience by waiting until others
are out of range before playing. When faced
with a blind shot, have someone check to be sure the
way ahead is clear.Lack of temper control can ruin
a day on the course. Golf is best when emotions
are under control. Visible and audible anger
can hurt your game and is not in keeping with the
game’s long history of good sportsmanship.
When club-throwing is involved, all that are nearby
are at an unnecessary and inexcusable risk.
Honesty
Always play by the rules.
General
Bites-Beware of bee and tick bites. Avoid walking
through woods and deep grass, especially with shorts.
Lyme Disease is still a prevalent disease and highly
transmittable on the golf course.Cover up!-A hat,
a skin protector, and plenty of fluids are highly
recommended to combat the effects of sun and heat.Non-golfers,
pets and very young children are at risk on the golf
course. It is not appropriate to take non-playing
children or pets on a golf outing. No Mulligans!
Save extra shots for the practice tee. Unaware
players are easily hit by practice shots. Stand
well away and not ahead of a player making a shot.
Standing on the ball side rather than behind a player
is the best etiquette. When attempting a high risk
shot from trouble, let others know what you are planning
to do. Consider a safer shot if the club’s
impact or a ricocheted ball could cause injury.
Lightning
Every year golfers become victims of lighning.
When a storm threatens, stop playing and leave the
course. No game is important enough to jeopardize
one’s life unnecessarily. Avoid open areas,
water, metal, wire fences, overhead wires and power
lines, isolated trees, elevated ground, maintenance
equipment, and golf carts.Take shelter when you are
unable to get off the golf course. Find shelter
(in order of preference) in a lighning/rain shelter,
club house, maintenance building, or automobile.
When shelter is not available, seek dense woods or
in low-lying ditches or bunkers.
